The Future of eLearning: The uLesson Live Lesson Feature

From the beginning of time, humans have gathered in their numbers to do everything from hunting and gathering to telling stories and sharing experiences. So it made sense that when educational systems began to develop, humans gathered to learn.

In this shared experience, knowledge was shared and affirmed. From gatherings in majestic halls, to gatherings in living rooms and gatherings under the cool shade of trees, learning has always taken the form of a shared experience.

In March 2020, uLesson went live with its mission to revolutionize learning in Africa. Since then, we have reached thousands of learners across Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

With our library of richly animated and illustrated pre-recorded videos, we’re well on our way to revolutionizing learning in Africa.

Starting from September, uLesson will be offering users this shared eLearning experience through its Live Class feature. We will deliver to students in West and East Africa, live classes covering a carefully curated, curriculum-based range of subjects delivered by subject matter experts.

The Live Class, hosted on the app, will cater to three categories of learners:

  • Primary
  • Junior secondary
  • Senior secondary

Learners in the primary category will have access to live classes in:

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Basic Science and Technology.

The junior secondary category will host classes in:

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Basic Science
  • Basic Technology

While learners in the senior secondary category will have access to:

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology

With a chat function that enables learners to communicate in real-time with tutors and other learners, we’re restoring the shared experience to the world of eLearning.

Also, with animations and illustrations that make for a more effective learning process, learners will no longer struggle with visualizing concepts.

See you in September!
